Initially I planned this brunch theme to be an Easter Brunch. It certainly would make a beautiful Easter setting. You could easily use colored eggs in the centerpiece vase rather than the stones and moss. But then. . . it is just too sweet not suggest it as a butterfly party theme for a Mother’s Day brunch, or bridal shower brunch, or girlfriend spring soirée. So many possibilities.
I have posted tutorials on how to make the twig and butterfly centerpiece, the chalkboard herb pot favor/place cards, the twig and butterfly napkin rings and posted a free printable for these beautiful watercolor butterflies with instructions on how to assemble them with using mini clothes pin. You can also download the butterfly brunch invitation that is easy to customize in Acrobat for any occasion. I now want to share with you my sources for this watercolor butterfly theme table setting. ~Lia

Thank you Le!
I love your website and this theme is absolutely beautiful. Are you able to tell me what the grass looking plant is along the window? I really like it and wanted to plant some in some tea cups…
Thanks Michelle. I found this grass at the local garden store and though I did not record the name of it I do know it is an ornamental outdoor landscape grass. It may be too long for tea cups, but wheat grass might be a perfect option. I buy mine at the health food store, but I am guessing you can find a tutorial on how to grow it online. Now I am curious and have to go look. :-)
Beautiful! I’m your newest follower so I don’t miss out any more goodness. Just discovered your blog today. :) Happy spring…although it’s still cold and snowy over here.
