My visit to Portland Nursery last week inspired me. I live in a loft just a few blocks from our office. It is the perfect abode for me in so many ways but is missing that rooftop garden I dream of having someday. As I walked through the herb section of the nursery to find the lavender topiaries for last weeks brunch post, the idea sparked to make a few herb pots to sit on my lofts window ledge. The chalkboard & whitewash paints add a vintage touch. I used a watered down white acrylic paint and DecorArt’s chalkboard paint for the finish. Here is a link to the full instructions from last week. ~Lia
