A great way to say thank you to your bridesmaids and maid of honor. . . these personalized, handmade and creatively wrapped note cards. They are inspiring to make and I will tell you how I created the sets in the photos above.
DOWNLOAD, PERSONALIZE & PRINT: With our (FREE) downloadable PDF templates these are easy to open in Adobe Acrobat where you can personalize the initial and name on the note card, the name or initial on the labels and the message under the “thank you” on the belly band (also check out our personalized note card collection at Elli). Print the note cards on card stock which can be done from your home printer or at an office supply store. The label templates are set up to customize two different names or initials per sheet. Print on Avery 8294 (1.5″) round ink jet labels that you can find at your office supply store. Though the template has 10 labels per name, two names per sheet, I trimmed them to a block of 6 to match my number of note cards and envelopes, and used the extra labels to package and wrap the gift. Print the belly bands on a letter weight paper rather than card stock, making them easy to wrap around the cards. Trim your cards and belly bands using a paper cutter or xacto knife and metal ruler.
WRAPPING IT ALL UP: You can find A7 envelopes in a variety of colors at craft or paper stores. Take your finished card with you so that you can get a nice match. In my sample above I used 6 cards and a label sheet of 6 that I wrapped snugly with the belly band. I used one of the extra labels to hold the ends of the belly band on the back. I then stacked the packet on top of the 6 coordinating envelopes and wrapped it like a gift with a piece of unbleached parchment paper that comes on a roll for baking. I liked the natural effect of this paper, but you can use any type of paper to create the style you want. I then tied the package with natural twine and used a tiny clothes pin that I purchased at the craft store to clip one of the extra labels to the twine. To make the Avery label a non sticky tag, I simply trimmed it off the sheet with the paper back still attached. My inspiration for this project was natural and crafty, but you can decorate your gift with any ribbon and wrap that works with your wedding style.

I’ve just printed the notecards but it keeps changing the name to the same on each card – i.e. I typed two different names on one sheet but it changes each one back to the last one typed. Could you advise what I need to do please?
thanks very much, Mina
Yes, it was set up to auto fill. Can you create a different set for each name?
