If you were to visit our studio, you would see trails of glitter pretty much every where. Today is the last day of our unofficial Glitter Week. For this project I am using glitter and decoupage together. . . oh my! With a variety of pink and red tissue paper mixed with recycled gold tissue and ribbon from the holidays, all I needed was a 6×6 art panel from the art supply store, my decoupage and glitter from the craft stash and I was set to make this playful piece of art. You can join me in the fun by following the tutorial below and use this as a Valentine for a sweet someone or to simply add some love to your own decor. XOXOX ~ Lia

Haha. Thanks Christine. :-)
you are a genius of creativity, i like everythings!I’m an italian girl sorry for my english :)
Thanks Alessandra! Hello to you in Italy!
This is beautiful! I think my crafty 6 year old daughter and I will take this on as our art project today…an ombre effect would also be fun! I have lots of canvases laying around, but the depth of your project made me think of a paper mache hinged-lid gift box I have–I think this idea is perfect for it! :)
This is so perfect for kid to make. You could do any shape too.
Great valentine decoration. Thank you!
Yes, and quick and easy (and of course too fun) to make.

Hi Lia,
Love this new project.
Would you share templets of your beautiful hearts?
Thanks,
Tatiana
Thanks Tatiana. I did not make templates for the hearts but cut them out randomly. I liked the variety of size and shapes.
What a cute project! I love it so much that I decided to feature it in our roundup of Valentine’s Day crafts! Check it out here: http://www.favecraftsblog.com/heart-crafts-valentines-day/
