Cupcake flags adorned with sweet messages or sayings make a lovely addition to your summer wedding or party cupcakes. Making cupcake toppers to add that personal touch are easy and affordable. Below you will find directions on how to make these cake flags our “fabulous freebie” flag templates in three colors that match our newest summer invitation designs.
What you need:
Color print(s) of the wedding flags on lighter weight paper (not card stock)
Scissors or exacto knife and ruler
Double stick tape
6-inch bamboo skewers (12 per printed sheet)
Instructions:
1) Trim flags
2) Fold on dotted line with printed side out
3) Open folded flag flat again and place a small piece of double stick tape on white side of flag, in the center and across flattened crease
4) Lay bamboo skewer on taped center of flag and wrap paper around skewer
* I like to fold the paper at a slight angle so that I see the back side of flag behind the printed side (see photo)

Lia, I was just wondering. Did I miss the download for the cute cupcake wrapper? It reminds me of the ice cream sugar cones. Had another idea. We could use your cupcake wrappers to make little shades for christmas lights, just cut down to fit.
On this post I did not include the wrapper. It was more of a prop for the photo. One of my early posts.

I love these! I have been searching for this exactly. I am having a tea party theme, is there any chance you would consider sending me these in some pale pastel colors? In particular a very light pink, pale mauve and light green or light Tiffany blue?
