Paper Rose Wedding Centerpiece

Paper Rose Wedding Centerpiece A few years back I owned a little flower shop that specialized in weddings. Table centerpieces gave us a lot of opportunity to be creative and crafty. This paper rose tree is still one of my favorites because it is sweet and simple with that handmade touch. You can use any kind of paper (even sheet music or romance novel pages) to make the roses but I do find that a letter weight rolls smoother than a heavier card stock. Have fun! ~Lia

  5. I love this! I’ve been looking for something like this for so long, but I am a budget bride and most tree-centerpieces are ridiculously glamourous and expensive. I love that this is DIY, and the step-by-step tutorial really helps. One question though: where do you find a twig like that??

    • I am wondering the same thing…I keep eyeballing all the trees as I’m driving around town, hoping to find one that has wonderful branches like this!

    • I did find it at a flower shop, but I really feel that any shape and size will look wonderful. That is the beauty of nature. If I had the time I would have gone twig scouting in our Portland Forest Park. . . but the rain. . . :-)

  6. That’s a beautiful centerpiece! Your tutorial is super simple which is great for me cause I’m not the crafty type and interior decorating doesn’t come easy to me, lol! It reminds me of a centerpiece that I saw from the interior design students at FIDM. Thanks for the great idea!

  7. I love this- I did something very similar for a baby shower last year…but yours looks far more polished and professional. Great job!

  8. This is just beautiful.

  9. Love this idea! I’m going to use this for my daughters centerpieces at her wedding.

  10. What a beautiful idea .. is great for all types of events or family gatherings. My older sister and I always fascinates these decorations, we even talked about it to her first baby shower for my wedding and would use something similar.
Thanks for giving us this wonderful idea .. if it looks beautiful with these white roses … How will other colors? Oh God I do not even want to imagine <3 <3 <3
I love the work you do with your hands, you are an artist!, Your ideas are great.
    Lia many thanks. =)

  11. Simply stunning and the roses are so beautiful and dainty. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful idea. You are very kind to do so.

  12. I found it easier to roll the spirals using my fingers, the skewer was a bit clumsy though it may work for some people. Thanks for the tutorials by the way!! :)

  13. Thank you for the tutorial, I am working on these for my sister’s wedding. Where did you get the container? We have looked at a few craft stores and haven’t found anything except using a clay pot.

  14. What a brilliant center piece for the table. this can be applied by the catering services if the couple wants themed catering for the wedding. i think it’s simply beautiful.
