Sneak Peek: Vintage Hanky Invitation

Vintage Hanky Wedding Invitation I really love the current floral trend, especially vintage mini-floral patterns! So in this mood board I have compiled some pretty ways to incorporate vintage flowers at your next special event, be it a wedding, shower, birthday or tea party. I envision the Cath Kidston sewing accessories (7) as a party favor or a shower game prize (wrap the gift in a vintage hanky for bonus points!). The hanky garland (9) would be super cute hung over a dessert table, with floral doilies (8) lining cake stands and under glass plates. The floral fabric tape (6) could be used to attach photos to a display wall or dress up some mason jars with fresh flowers. I’m even tempted to travel to London to take this class on painted cakes and cookies (4). They are stunning!

  1. I love the use of vintage hankies as a banner!! Over the years, my grandmother collected them & so have I. They make wonderful pillow covers and go so well anywhere in a shabby chic guest room. Thanks for your creativity.

  2. I love everything about Ellinee’s site. Friendly honest content, feels like home.
Lots of great ideas and things to do.
