We are Loving Island Bliss: An Elegant Luau Party

Tropical Luau Party Inspiration Island Bliss, the tropical themed wedding invitation and party invitation designed by Emily for our Elli shop, was my inspiration for this board. I love her combination of the Tangerine Tango orange, rich purples and hot pinks over the sandy textured background. If I were to host a Luau this weekend, this is what I would want to wear, what I would want to serve and how I would like to decorate. Of course all of my flowers would be paper. . . right? Aloha! ~Lia
(Pssst. . . I heard there might be a paper orchid tutorial later this week).

  1. Hallo! Any time I notice traffic from a particular website, I always go check it out, and I absolutely adore your blog! Thank you so much for featuring my pina colada cookies on your gorgeous luau-themed post. Such eye candy, I love it!

    Warmest regards,
Charlie Michelle, from the Happy Bakery

  2. Hi Lia! I just came across your luau party post. Thank you so much for featuring my tropical bouquet! :)

  3. Hi Lia, Beautiful collage of both colors & ideas. Number Three made me think of your wonderful watercolored flowers and how pretty these would be if you painted them before folding the balloon shape. You could even hang a cluster of them together in the corner of a room inside, after the party. Thank-you for the ideas and links.
