Processing & Shipping

When will I receive my sample order?

You will receive your sample order within 1-2 weeks. Unless otherwise specified, samples are shipped via USPS first class mail, which does not include tracking.

When will I receive my custom order?

Turnaround time depends on your chosen ship method:  

USPS priority mail - estimated delivery within 7 business days  
USPS express mail - estimated delivery within 6 business days  
UPS standard overnight - estimated delivery within 5 business days

If you've written Design Notes in your order or your order includes recipient address printing or place cards, you will work with an Elli designer over email and the turnaround time begins after you give your approval to print.

How long will it take to receive my customized digital proof after I have placed my order?

If you make a special request in the Design Notes section as you place your order, an Elli designer will email your digital proofs to you within 1 business day. Additionally, if your order includes recipient address printing or place cards, you will work with an Elli designer to finalize everything before your order is printed. If you do not have any Design Notes, and your order does not include recipient address printing or place cards, you will not receive a digital proof, and we’ll begin printing your order shortly after we’ve received and reviewed it. 

How do I change or cancel my order?

Production begins shortly after the order is placed, so if you spot an issue, please reach out immediately at 800.443.5289. If you need to make changes after your order is printed, please click here for next steps.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately at this time we do not ship outside of the US. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Customization

How do I make changes to my design?

Our state of the art customization tool allows you to change colors, fonts, and layout all on your own. We recommend creating an Elli account before you start so you can save as you go. Click "personalize" on the design of your choosing to begin customizing. If you have a design change that you’re not able to do on your own, Elli designers are here to help! Please leave your request in the Design Notes section, and complete your order through the website. After your order is placed, an Elli designer will send your customized proof to your email. You’ll work with your designer until you give approval to print. Check out this page to see some how-to videos for the editing tool.

How do I change the colors on my design?

You can change the text colors using our customization tool. If you’d like to modify the colors of florals or other design elements, please leave your request in the Design Notes section, and complete your order through the website. After your order is placed, an Elli designer will send your customized proof to your email. You’ll work with your designer until you give approval to print. Check out this page to see some how-to videos for the editing tool.

Is there an added fee for requesting designer assistance?

Working with an Elli designer is absolutely free! The prices you see on each product page are the final prices – there are no hidden fees. 

Can I order a printed sample of my customized design?

We do not offer customized printed samples, but you are welcome to order 10 cards (our lowest quantity available for customized cards) so you can see your personalized design in person before ordering the rest.

Why is some of the text uneditable on my design?

Due to certain stylistic attributes of the text, certain text boxes are not editable on the website. Please leave a note in the Design Notes section, and an Elli designer will send you an updated proof of the design after your order is placed.

Do you offer guest envelope addressing?

Yes, we do offer guest addressing! Printed envelopes cost $0.60 each, and are a selectable option as you are placing your order. More details can be found here.

How do I order a wedding invitation sample?

Ordering a sample is easy, and free! Simply click “order a sample” on the design of your choosing, and use promo code sample at checkout.

How much do your invitation sets cost?

All of our items are priced separately, so you can pick and choose exactly what you need! To find the price, simply select your quantity and your envelope option, and the price will generate automatically. A few ballpark prices that may be helpful:

Does adding a photo/text/logo to my design cost extra?

Nope! There is no additional fee for adding a photo, text or logo to the front or back of your cards.

What type of paper do you use?

Our paper is a luxurious 120 lb, 17 pt thick card stock that features a matte eggshell finish.

Do you offer inner/outer envelopes?

At this time we do not offer inner/outer envelopes. Our envelopes are A7 size (5.25 x 7.25 inches).

Do you do embossed/letterpress/foil printing?

At this time we do not offer embossed/letterpress/foil printing options. We have many gorgeous designs that we know you'll love – and we're happy to help you find the perfect one! Feel free to reach out to info@elli.com if there is any way we can help.

How many envelopes come with my order? How do I order extra envelopes?

You will receive the same number of envelopes as invitations. An order of 100 invitations will include 100 envelopes. If you need extra envelopes, you can find them here.

How do I assemble my envelope liners?

Simply place the liner inside your envelope with the adhesive strip at the top. Remove the covering from the adhesive, and place it directly below the adhesive on the envelope. Find a short video here!

How much postage do I need for my wedding invitation suite?

For a standard invitation suite (envelope, invitation, RSVP card, RSVP envelope and enclosure card), you'll only need one standard 1oz stamp. If you have any additional pieces, we recommend having your stuffed envelope weighed before purchasing postage.

Do you offer evites?

At this time we only offer printed cards.

How do I reorder more of my custom design?

The best way to reorder your custom items is to just order through our site like normal, with your correct quantity (the minimum quantity is 10). You will click the Personalize button but won't actually have to make any changes in the editor. Once you are on the editor page, please indicate in the Design Note section that this is a reorder and you want to use the custom proofs we created for you before, referencing your previous order number. Then click Review + Save, and proceed to checkout. This will serve as a placeholder for your custom design.

After your order is placed, we will follow up over email to confirm that no changes are needed from your previous order.

I made an Elli account prior to July 2019, why can’t I log in?

We recently released a new and improved elli.com! With the upgrade, unfortunately we were unable to move over existing customer accounts. You will need to create a new account. If you’ve ordered with us in the past, we have record of your order, so please reach out with any questions!

I saved designs to my Elli account prior to July 2019, why can’t I access them?

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but due to our recent site upgrade, it’s not possible to access designs saved prior to July 2019. Please reach out if we can assist in any way.

How do I access orders I placed before July 2019?

Please reach out to us if you need to reference any order placed prior to July 2019.

Where can I find invitations that match my Save the Dates?

We’re happy to help you find your matching design. Please reach out to us at info@elli.com and we’ll reply right away.

Do you offer any discounts?

We have various promotions throughout the year. Feel free to reach out to us, or sign up for our newsletter to get notified of any promotions.

Can I use more than one promo code?

Only one promo code is permitted per order.
